Come & celebrate 2 years of progression
Progression Project is back for another night of Trance and Progressive music. This month we are celebrating our 2 year anniversary, so to say thank you for all the support over the years we are throwing our doors open for a free event!
To celebrate our birthday we will be bringing someone who is easily one of the highest quality DJ’s in the Trance scene as well as a Progression Project favourite: Rossco. His sound is unique and spellbinding, looking past the boundaries of what many would consider Trance to draw influences from surrounding genres.
Another Progression Project regular, Pato De Gomah is known for his deep, dark and driving Trance and Prog sets. His recent “Focus 001” mix requested for Trancetribe.com has received critical acclaim from punters and DJ’s alike, not to mention his performances at A Night Of Trance, United Colours of Trance, and with his live Trance project, Digital Control.
Local duo Cryptic & Sonus seem to be going from strength to strength this year. Their most recent release, a remix of Ivica Vanevski & Saturn 6’s Dream of You was recently featured on Roger Shah’s “Music for Balearic people” Radio show and has received support from the likes of Tiesto, Jaytech, Ernesto vs Bastian and more. The boys are back again to fill Progression Project with a set of progressive and electro fused trance, including some test runs of their own tracks and remixes.
To round out the artists, we welcome for the first time to Progesssion Project, Nick Arbor. As well as working hard in the studio producing his own blend of Prog and Tech influenced Trance, Nick is well known for his sets at events like Creamfields, A Night of Trance and Transmission. The warm up set at Progression Project will provide the perfect canvas for Nick to settle in to a style he doesn’t get to play out that often.
But a big birthday celebration would not be a big birthday celebration without something extra special, so we are very thrilled to announce our new venue; Tao Nightclub. A refreshing change from our previous home, Tao delivers a slightly increased capacity for more comfort, while recent renovations and sound system upgrades ensure that the venue holds up to Progression Project’s mantra of quality over quantity. Tao is also closer to public transport and secure parking facilities.
If that wasn’t enough, we will also be celebrating the launch of the new “Future Trance Anthems” compilation mixed by Nathan Cryptic. This album contains 12 club bangers hand picked by Nathan and is a representation of his sound over the last 12 months.
